Idomacromia jillianae Dijkstra & Kisakye, 2004
Jill's Shadowcruiser

Type locality: Ruhija, Uganda

Diagnosis

Male is similar to I. proavita, and similar to all other Isomacromia species by (a) anal loop elongate rather than stout, of 14-29 cells, extends about to level of radial fork, with distinct midrib; (b) sectors of arculus only fused at their origin. However, differs by (1) being restricted to SW Uganda; (2) smaller size, Hw 35-37 mm; (3) venter of thorax anteriorly metallic green, posteriorly all yellow; (4) vulvar scale with truncate apices, cleft widens towards base, hairs confined to apices; (5) wing bases faintly yellow to about Ax1; (6) Pt smaller, with 2 mm; (7) 19-23, rather than 24-29 cells in anal loop.
