Type locality: Rio Muni, Biafra, Cabo S. Juan, Equatorial Guinea

Habitat description

Streams shaded by forest. Often with a gravelly and/or sandy bottom and probably coarse detritus. From 400 to 800 m above sea level, but possibly down to sea level.
