Type locality: Segheria, Ethiopia

Diagnosis

Male is closest to A. kenya by (a) labrum for half or more pale; (b) mesepisternum with transverse pale streak bordering antealar sinus; (c) Abd usually pruinose with maturity. However, differs by (1) being restricted to Ethiopia; (2) metallic area on frons with straight anterior border in dorsal view. [Adapted from Dijkstra & Clausnitzer 2014]

Habitat description

Streams shaded by, or in open areas in, forest. Often faster sections (rapids, falls) with rocks. From 1100 to 2900 m above sea level, but mostly between 1500 and 2000.
