Pseudagrion (B) sublacteum (Karsch, 1893)
Type locality: Togo, no locality data available.
Male is similar to P. massaicum and P. tanganyicum by (a) face usually reddish, sometimes yellow, postocular spots and antehumeral stripes often present; (b) at least tibiae pale, contrasting with femora when these are dark; (c) S8-9 both usually distinctly marked with black apically, sometimes pruinose; (d) paraprocts hatchet-shaped, with prominent dorsal knob (lateral view) and short, blunt apex (lateral and dorsal view). However, differs by (1) thorax usually duller, may darken or pruinose, rather than being brightly coloured; (2) lateral and apical lobes of penis obtuse, rather than pointed; (3) cerci clearly longer than paraprocts (lateral view). Rivers, streams and possibly large lakes, mostly in open landscapes, but sometimes in open areas in forest. Often with emergent vegetation, probably especially faster sections. From 0 to 1900 m above sea level, but mostly below 1300.
